Math
  • Classify triangles
  • Multiply a whole number of up to four digits by a one-digit whole number, and multiply two two-digit numbers.
  • Multiply or divide to solve word problems involving multiplicative comparison,

Language Arts
  • Read grade-level prose and poetry orally with accuracy, appropriate rate, and expression on successive readings.
  • Read grade-level text with purpose and understanding.
  • Determine a theme of a story, drama, or poem from details in the text; summarize the text.
  • Add audio recordings and visual displays to presentations when appropriate to enhance the development of main ideas or themes.


Social Studies
  • A map scale and cardinal directions can be used to describe the location of Ohio and the United States.

Science
  • The surface of the Earth changes due to weathering and erosion.
